1935Summer For a record of this· bird's nesting, we must again turn to Mr. Breckenri\ige. No act'Uill nest was discovcrod, but on June 19th and several times after that Brockemridge saw old birds which were much concarnod over hie presence ~d doubtless had young. The locality was Round Lake, nenr Minneapolis. The Flicker, 1935 -12
1937SummerG. Kutz re­ported the finding of a nest with eleven eggs at Stillwater, May 24. On June 15, at Deer River, A. Risser, A. Evanson, L. Pittelkow, and G. Rysgaard saw a family group of seven young.
1945WinterTwo near St. Paul, December 28, 1941, (William H. Longley); one near Minneapolis, December 13, 1938, (Mrs. Davidson).
1961WinterOne adult male was seen by Bob Janssen on February 4 at the Dakota-Hennepin County line just south of Minneapolis.
