1930SummerThe writer saw a Warbling Vireo put the finishing touches on a nest ~t Lake Harriet on May 15th but this nest was later deserted. Ralph Woolsey found the first nest with a complete set of eggs, four, at Shakopee on June 6th, and Alden Carpenter saw a nest at Robbinsdale on June 28th with three young.
1931SummerOne nest, contents unknown, on June 11th and another, with four eggs, on June 24th; both found by R. Woolsey.
1932SummerOn May 28th Dobie found a nest of this songster-with.3 eggs at Svron Lake. The last nest with eggs was seen on June 14th ($wedenborg).
1933Summer Eighteen nests reported. Hiemenz found a nest ncar St. Cloud on Juno 1st, tho contents of which wore 2 fresh eggs. Risser saw tho latest nest, which was found ncar Sturgeon Lake on June 27th and contained 2 eees. This nest later held.3 eGgs. Young out of tho nest and which were being fed were soon by the writer at Shakopee on July 1st.
1934Summer On June 3rd Risser and Rysgaard found a nest with 1 egg of this species, n.nd anpther with 2 eggs. No nests were reported later than these found at Linwood on June 16th, one of which held 4 eggs. (See BOB-vlli!TE for list of observers) The Flicker, 1934 -P. 48
1935Summer Prosser, who sav·a nest with 4 eggs June 12th at Linwood Lake, gives us our single complete record.
1936Summer Mrs. C. E. Peterson at ~1adiso~ observed an adult feeding a Brown-headed Cowbird young just out of the nest.
1937SummerOn June 2o one was seen incubating its eggs near Euclid (Risser, Pittelkow, Rysgaard and Evan- son). Mrs. C. E. Peterson saw a nest on June 25, but couldn't determine the con- ten:s. Madison, Minn. GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER. On July I A. B. Erickson saw nearly fleC:lged young; on Aug. IO he saw young that could fly well. St. Croix National Park.
1938SummerOn May 25, at · Lake Minnetonka, the bird class saw a nest but didn't determine its contents. Young awing ~ere seen on July I7 by Swedenborg at Minneapolis.
1940SummerA nest con­taining 4 fresh eggs was seen on June r r, at St. Cloud by the T. S. Roberts Club.
