1992Fall Third state record, discovered 11/25 Wilkin (The Loon 65:49–50).
1992Winter Third state record seen at Doran, Wilkin Co. feeder until 12/27 FKS, mob (The Loon 65:49–50).
1997Fall Fourth state record 11/8 Mower (Austin) LDo (erroneous date published in The Loon 70:64). [Corrected]
2001Fall First-fall bird found by DPB while leading a WINGS tour 10/7 Lake (Knife River) was relocated the same afternoon †JWL, †PHS et al. but not thereafter. Fifth state record, all from fall/early winter.
2002Spring Sixth state record 4/16–17 Clay (Moorhead) †RHO et al. (The Loon 74:238–239).
2007Fall1 An immature at Lake Winnibigoshish, Painted Turtle campsite, in Cass from 9/22–23 furnished a seventh state record (ph. †BAW, MoM, m.ob.).
2022Summer1 Eighth state and first county record: 6/2–5 Lyon (Marshall) MOs, ph. †KEm, †EzH, ph. †NMe, ph. †LBa, †PCC, ph. RZi, ph. †LS, m.ob.
 
 Nine records: one spring, one summer, six fall, and one fall–winter. Recorded in two (2019, 2022) of the last 10 years.
