1930SummerTwo nests of this late nesting species vere found. Alden Risser located one at St. PAul which held small yO\U'lg en July 13, and the writer found a nest at Silver Lake vhich held three young about two dc.ys old, on July.30th.
1931SummerA nest with three fresh eggs reported by Alden Risser on June 15th.
1933Summer Nine nests of the Alder were found, all by Grir.~es in Pennington County, One of these hold 2 eggs and a Brown-headed Cowbird egg on June 12th, The last nest, found on Juno 2Jrd, contained 4 eggs. Six of tho nests were burdened with Brown-headed Cowbird eggs. 1
1934Summer Mr. o.nd Hrs. Swedenborg reported a nest of this species with 1 egg, found ncar Onamia, Millo Lacs County, on June 1oth. No other nests were reported.
1935Summer Four young Alder Flycatchers were seen July 19th at Case Lake by Thompson.
1936Summer Mrs. Peterson located two nests at Madison. Throe eggs made up tho contents of the first, and the second contained a set of four eggs. Both nests were built in uplru1d groves, an un common nesting site for the little Alder. On July 14th a nest with one egg and one nestling wns found in the same area.
1938SummerMilton Thompson found 3 nests of the Alder on June 9 at Walker. The eggs in all 3 nests hatched, and the young left the nests.
1944SummerJune 24, four eggs, St. Paul, Brother Hubert and Brother Pius.
1946SummerBuilding, June 4, St. Louis Co., Bro. Hubert. Nests have been reported f0r Ollly two of the last six years.
1947Summer4 eggs, June 15; 2 nests, 8 eggs, June 25; 4 eggs, July 5; young out, July 20, Lac qui Parle Co., Willis.
1974Spring Only reports: 5-21 Goodhue DR; 5-27 Rock KE; 5-28 Aitkin RBJ.
1974Summer Reported from Marshall (Willow?), St. Louis, Lake, Cook, Crow Wing (Willow?), Morrison (Willow?), Itasca, Mille Lacs (Willow?), Lake of the Woods; migrants reported 6-2 Houston (KE) and 6-5 Stearns (NH); the ranges of this and the preceeding species in the state are still uncertain, and we may have to ask for call-note data in the future as we do now for the dowitchers.

2003Summer More reports than usual. Observed in 23 counties as far west and south as a line through Kittson, Clay, Stearns, Anoka. Spring migrants reported in nine additional southern counties; latest migrant (of reports indicating vocalizations heard) 6/13 Rice TFB.
