'Rare Regular' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Hubbard County for the Spring season
Found in a small wetland 1.25 miles south of the intersection of County Road 11 and Highway 87, southeast of Long Lake. Bird was first located at 13:30 on May 4 by Skyler Vold, Jack Myers, and Sam Larsen. Was grouped in a small mixed flock of 2 blue-winged teal, 4 green-winged teal, and 3 mallards. We were unable to relocate the bird on the morning of May 5.
