Occasional in Rock County in the Summer season

A mediocre "digibin" image of a Lark Sparrow along CR 8 along the south side of Blue Mounds State Park. This skittish individual would not remain still or allow close approach, but it was only the second of this species I have ever seen in the county – after birding here numerous times since the 1970s.
