Uncommon in Washington County in the Summer season

Kayaking the lower St. Croix river is a reliable way to see many Prothonotary Warblers. This was one of six we came across near William O'Brien State Park. Possible to hear and, with patience, see from the boat launch and the Riverside trail in the park.
