Common in Hennepin County in the Summer season

Dickcissel, Brooklyn Park, Hennepin County. Several Dickcissels, both male and female were observed and heard amid prairie plantings SW of the intersection of Hwys 169 and 610. Take Central Avenue north through Osseo, then right (east) on 93rd to the first street that turns left. The birds have been seen at several places along that street, mostly past the curve as the street heads toward Noble Academy.
