Great Black-backed Gull in St. Louis County

'Rare Regular' in Minnesota

Saw this first cycle Great Black-backed Gull on the WI side of the break wall. I walked up to as slow as possible to get the photo but the bird looked excited and ready to leave as soon as I approached the bird at 50 feet. I was hoping for a side view but it kept both eyes on me.
