Uncommon in Scott County in the Summer season

Cooper's Hawk family portrait. This doesn't bode well for the song birds in our yard. We witnessed the demise of our summer resident Eastern Phoebe right after they completed there nest on May 9th. Yesterday the chicks were fed a chipmunk. I hope that turns out to be their preferred meal.
