Uncommon in Cook County in the Fall season

This Northern Goshawk swooped down attempting to make "lunch" out of the Black-capped Chickadees eating seeds out of my hand... Missing, he "plastered" himself against a dead spruce 3 ft. from me... he then perched in a nearby tree and allowed me to take his photo, along with my rapid heart beat... Superior National Forest, Lutsen, MN.
