Great Egret in Scott County

Common in Scott County in the Summer season

While waiting for the Great Blue Heron to do something interesting (like catch a fish), the Great Egret came out of the reeds and almost immediately caught 2 fish. You can see that the GBH is watching closely. The "result" installment will be posted tomorrow. (Focused stacked to provide a greater depth of field). Scott County one mile east of St. Patrick.
