Calliope Hummingbird in St. Louis County

'Accidental' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in St. Louis County for the Summer season

This male Calliope hummingbird was first found on the 13th of June by Linda Atella on Park Point (Minnesota Point) in Duluth. The bird has remained fairly stationary and has been repeatedly seen to the left (when walking toward the lake) of the first dune boardwalk south of the bath house. It was still present, today, June 15.
