Ross's Goose in Rice County

Occasional in Rice County in the Spring season

There were two Ross's Geese at Dennison WTP on Monday, along with two Greater White-fronted Geese, Greater and Lesser Scaups, Ring-necked Ducks, Blue-winged Teals, Mallards, Bufflehead, and, of course, Canada Geese. Although they mostly rested on the berm or the water, something spooked the waterfowl at one point, and Ross's Geese flew around with them before landing again.
