Common in Cook County in the Winter season

A beautiful flock of 300-400 Bohemian Waxwings flew over and into Grand Marais this afternoon. They were greeted by empty mountain ash trees, cleaned out by American Robins in October. Very few berries remain in Cook Co. as the photo shows, so the length of their visit here may be short.
