'Accidental' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in St. Louis County for the Fall season
This image of a juvenile Purple Gallinule was taken today at the Wildwoods rehabilitation facility in Duluth. On October 23 it apparently hit a large window at a building on Waseca Street in West Duluth, which is near the St Louis River just east of Indian Point, and was brought in to Wildwoods the same day. This represents only the fourth Minnesota record, and the first in the state since 1970.
