Hudsonian Godwit in Grant County

Uncommon in Grant County in the Spring season

Two of four Hudsonian Godwits seen at the North Ottawa Impoundment on Sunday. Other shorebirds were Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, Pectoral Sandpipers, Least Sandpipers, a Dunlin, and several Semipalmated Plovers. The birds were distant, the light was low, and strong, gusting winds made it hard to hold the camera steady.
