Uncommon in Koochiching County in the Spring season
If I see blackpolls at all in spring, it is usually only for a day; yesterday was that day. Apparently when their migration from S. America hits the southern US, they travel about 30 miles a day. When they pass the Great Lakes, it can be up to 200 miles a day. Our property, Rainy Lake.
