Great-tailed Grackle in Nobles County

'Rare Regular' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Nobles County for the Spring season

This singing male was found by my Minn Birding Weekends group in Worthington and apparently represents a first Nobles County record (although it has been recorded in all five counties adjacent to Nobles). It was first seen along the SE shore of Okabena Lake in Ehler's Park, and it was relocated later in the day along with a female a few blocks away at the south end of Lake Street.
