Uncommon in St. Louis County in the Fall season

This female type Long-tailed Duck has been seen twice since Monday at the McQuade Road Boat Launch located along Scenic Highway 61. Typically you normally see Long-tailed Ducks way out in Lake Superior in small to large rafts. It was a real treat to find such a tolerant sea duck in area that I was able to sneak and take a few photos.
