'Rare Regular' in Minnesota
Juvenile Sabine's Gull seen at the Superior Entry, Wisconsin near the Minnesota border this afternoon at 1:36 pm. This bird was seen by a group of birders who were gathered at the entry looking for gulls and hoping to see the juvenile Sabine's that had been spotted earlier at Canal Park (at 11:12 am). Although it would seem likely these two sightings represent the same individual, it is possible they were actually different, which is surprising since this is a relatively late date for this species.
