Common in Pennington County in the Fall season

This juvenile was among 14 shorebird species seen at the Thief River Falls sewage ponds by the Minn Birding Weekends group this past weekend. Other shorebirds there included Baird's and Stilt sandpipers, Short-billed Dowitcher, and Red-necked Phalarope; also present by the entrance gate was a close and cooperative Nelson's Sparrow among several Bobolinks.
