'Rare Regular' in Minnesota
This juvenile Parasitic Jaeger was seen from the Superior Entry, Duluth/Superior, where it only briefly crossed into Minnesota waters while pursuing Ring-billed Gulls and even several Double-crested Cormorants. Subsequently, this same afternoon, I saw an additional four Parasitic Jaegers (3 light adults and 1 dark adult) along Wisconsin Point between Gull Bluff and Lot 1, plus additional sightings of this same juvenile (which came closer than full frame on my camera!), for a total of five Parasitic Jaegers. These were very hungry jaegers, making repeated attacks at gulls until mid-afternoon.
