Common in Hennepin County in the Summer season
Reversed sexual size dimorphism is especially pronounced in Cooper’s Hawks--on average, males are only 2/3 as big (body mass) as females. These two juveniles (of four nest mates that have been frequenting our yard in S. Minneapolis) are about 3 weeks post-fledging and are presumably a female (left) and male.
