Great Egret in Dakota County

Common in Dakota County in the Spring season

In spite of the inclement snowy April weather patterns here in the Metro the Great Egrets have arrived. I was happy to observe a pair forage in a shallow outflow ditch with their long white plumes blowing in the wind.
