Sandhill Crane in Dakota County

Common in Dakota County in the Spring season

This morning when the sun came up on Lake Byllesby it was noisy with the welcomed calls of many birds. I enjoyed this pair of Sandhill Cranes, 40 Tundra Swans, 22 Greater White-fronted Geese, and 14 species of Ducks all on the lake with plenty of ice and snow still on it.
