Uncommon in Roseau County in the Fall season

This image was taken after sunset NE of Roseau near the corner of 340th St and 440th Ave. It was one of at least 6 Short-eared Owls (possibly 9 or 10) found in this area by a Minn Birding Weekends group on the evenings of Sept 1 and 2. (Posted with the photographer's permission by Kim Eckert)
