Henslow's Sparrow in Hennepin County

Occasional in Hennepin County in the Spring season

Seen and heard at least four Henslow's Sparrows on territory at Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve. This Henslow's Sparrow finally showed itself when it started raining lightly. The picture is a bit grainy because of the rain and low light, but it was the first time I was able to see a Henslow's Sparrow rather than just hear their short song. They were heard and seen just south of trail marker 36 on the horse trails in the south part of Murphy-Hanrehan.
