'Rare Regular' in Minnesota

Photo taken along Sawbill Landing Road in Lake County. From Forest Road 172 go to Sawbill Landing Road and drive .8 miles to the burnt forest clearing and walk around and listen for tapping. We also found 2 male Black-backed Woodpecker a mile further up near the Trapper's Lake Access area in another burnt forest clearing. I gotten a report that at least 9 or 10 Black-backed Woodpeckers were seen in this area about week ago.
