Iceland Gull in Hennepin County

'Rare Regular' in Minnesota

I observed this first-cycle Iceland Gull on the Minnesota River at the west end outflow of Black Dog Lake this afternoon from 2-2:40. It provided excellent views as it circled back and forth up and down the river with the sunshine on its wings, and also while it preened standing out on the ice.
