'Accidental' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Dakota County for the Winter season

I found this gull at 10:45 a.m., Sat. Dec. 15, Mississippi River, South St. Paul, Hardman and Grand Ave., about 1/2 mi. N of the pedestrian overpass. I watched it until 11:30, and then again in the afternoon. It roosted on the ice and flew about in the general area; at 11:20 it flew upriver (N) 1/2 mile, but returned later. At 2:50 p.m. it flew S out of view, but was rediscovered an hour later by Tony Hertzel about 1/2 mi. S of the 494 bridge, where it remained until dusk.
