Mountain Bluebird in Stevens County

'Casual' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Stevens County for the Spring season

This male Mountain Bluebird was found by Paul Egeland and myself this afternoon along Stevens County Road 1, ~1/4 mile south of MN Hwy 28, just west of the Stevens-Pope county line. Two other birders in the area, Herb Dingmann and Linda Sparling, were also able to observe the bird shortly after its discovery.
