'Accidental' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Jackson County for the Fall season

This female Magnificent Frigatebird was discovered by Jay Gilliam and Stephen Dinsmore on 2 September at Spirit Lake in Dickenson County, Iowa. The northern shore of the lake reaches into Minnesota at Jackson County Road 2, and the bird ventured across this border twice on the morning of its discovery.
