'Rare Regular' in Minnesota

First-cycle Thayer's Gull at Canal Park, Duluth, 1 January 2011. Mike Hendrickson and I also observed two second-cycle, two third-cycle, and one adult Thayer's Gull; "Herman" the second-cycle probable Thayer's X Iceland Gull which was first found at Wisconsin Point 10/20/2010 and consistently at Canal Park since that time; one second-cycle and one third-cycle "Kumlien's" Iceland Gull; and one first-cycle and one second-cycle Great Black-backed Gull.
