Great Black-backed Gull in St. Louis County

'Rare Regular' in Minnesota

First-cycle Great Black-backed Gull at Canal Park, Duluth, 23 December 2010. Also present among the >1800 gulls at this location were at least 5 Thayer's Gulls (3 third-cycle and 2 adult), a third-cycle Iceland Gull, "Herman" the second-cycle probable hybrid Thayer's X Iceland Gull, at least one adult Glaucous Gull, and an adult Great Black-backed Gull. To the best of my knowledge the adult Slaty-backed Gull was not seen today.
