Common in Rice County in the Spring season

I have been hearing and seeing a pair of meadowlarks at Jefferson Parkway Wetlands in Northfield for the past week. This is right in town! There is a small triangular patch of grass and small trees between the street and the bike trail and that is where I see them most often. Do they really intend to nest there? There's a fair amount of traffic in the area. We'll see if they hang around.
