'Rare Regular' in Minnesota

This is the same 3rd cycle Thayer's Gull that Peder Svingen post above. I thought I share this view of the gull resting on the water. Like Peder said its a fun afternoon of photographing and learning about the cycle plumages of Thayer's Gulls. We were really hoping to find a Ross's gull though! ( - :
