Snowy Egret in Cass County

'Rare Regular' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Cass County for the Spring season

At middle pond of the Hackensack WTP. Was on rock area and occasionally feeding at edge of pond. Viewed for over 30 minutes and bird moved 3 times to different sides of pond. There was usually a flock of 20+ Ring-billed Gull that were near the Snow Egret. One gate open during week days, but there is a No Trespassing sign. Best to talk to city employees to get permission to enter.
