ID changed from Clark's Grebe to Western Grebe. Kim Eckert writes
In my opinion, the grebe you posted on Recently Seen is not a Clark's Grebe. It may be an intermediate/hybrid, but the face pattern fits a Western Grebe better, and there's no visible suggestion of whiter flanks.
