American Golden-Plover in Isanti County

Uncommon in Isanti County in the Fall season

Found 9/18 by Brad Abendroth at the Isanti sewage ponds. Seven American Golden-plovers present today, along with a Buff-breasted Sandpiper (found yesterday by Herb Dingmann), a Pectoral Sandpiper, Least Sandpiper, Lesser Yellowlegs and many Killdeer - a bonanza in this shorebird-poor county!
