'Casual' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Dakota County for the Spring season

This adult gray morph Gyrfalcon is being seen at 180th and Donnelly near Vermillion. It is attracted to the several thousand geese and Mallards feeding in the adjacent fields. It was photographed here perched on a power pole on 180th. This is the 4th consecutive year a Gyrfalcon has wintered in this general area - most likely the same individual.
