'Rare Regular' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Olmsted County for the Spring season
On Sunday (4/12), when we were under the Winter Storm Warning, this little warbler showed up at my suet feeder. At a glance, I figured it was a Yellow-Rumped Warbler because some other people in Minnesota had reported seeing them. On Tuesday, when it was still hanging around, I decided to take some pictures. After downloading the photos, I didn't think it really looked like a Butter Butt, so I pulled out the field guide and identified it as a Yellow-Throated Warbler! The bird hung around my feeders for a few days and Wednesday (4/13) was the last day I saw him.
