Uncommon in St. Louis County in the Spring season

One of 3 fledged, full-grown juveniles which came from a nearby nest in a white pine, just south of Chester Park in Duluth. This is the 2nd consecutive year that owls have nested in this neighborhood; the 2019 nest was also in a pine, about a half block away from this year's nest. (Also note how similar the plumage is to the one posted earlier today by Gerry Hoekstra.)
