Occasional in St. Louis County in the Summer season

This nearly full-grown juvenile was found in a spruce tree on Lawn St in Duluth near the UMD campus as it was being harassed by crows. It had hatched from a nest in a white pine in a residential yard about two blocks away on Grandview Ave, probably in early May.
